About a fast-moving little book

This is a fast-paced, thought-provoking, and often funny little book that I would like us to enjoy together.

Some of the topics and opinions expressed in the book are quite controversial. I hope that we can:
(1) share perhaps conflicting ideas while always being civil and as reasonable as possible, disagreeing without being disagreeable;

(2) contribute ideas both thoughtful and humorous that bring us closer together on this small planet, helping ourselves and our planetary neighbors get more out of this life.

As this world gets smaller and smaller, if we don't help each other enjoy together, we will likely hurt each other by being selfishly miserable apart. The great Robert Green Ingersoll said it well, "The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here. The way to be happy is to make others so." Can we help do that in our discussions?
